We collect your email address when you create an account. During strategy sessions, we store the conversation content and the business information you share so your Strategy Room can be built and maintained over time.
Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number — only the subscription status Stripe sends back to us.
Your conversation history and Strategy Room data are stored in Supabase, a cloud-hosted Postgres database. Data is encrypted at rest. Each member's data is isolated — your information is never accessible to other members.
All payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe or update your billing information, you're interacting directly with Stripe's secure checkout. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never handle your payment credentials.
Transactional emails — sign in links, subscription confirmations, and Founder's Review notifications — are sent via Resend. We don't send marketing emails. You'll only hear from us when something relevant to your account happens.
We use PostHog to understand how the product is being used — things like which features members engage with and how sessions flow. This tracking is anonymous and based on usage patterns only. The content of your conversations is never tracked or sent to PostHog.
Active accounts retain all data indefinitely. When an account is cancelled, data enters a 30-day archive period during which you can export everything. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted.
You can export all your data at any time from your Account page. You can delete your account at any time. If you have questions or need help with either, reach out via the Contact The Strategy Room option on your Account page.
For privacy-related questions, use the Contact The Strategy Room option on your Account page, or email us at support@thestrategyroom.com.
